It is one of the fine residential communities on Lake Wallenpaupack.  It features a large beach, pavilion and boat slips on the "big" lake.  "Tanglwood" also features 1/2 acre to full acre homesites, central water and borders the Pennsylvania State Game Lands.

Within the borders of the community is the Paupack Hills Country Club with an 18 hole golf course, restaurant, health club, indoor pool and racketball courts.

Tanglwood Lake Estates is located in Palmyra Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania.  The community is in the Wallenpaupack Area School District and features 900 property owners and 500 homeowners.
